DANCING SHOES
Worked a school’s 50th year gala the other night, school officials, the mayor, and the congressman were all present to celebrate. next time you get the chance, thank a teacher.

Whether you know it or not California has some history to it, buildings that date back to the start of our country and a culture before texting, ipads and fake everything. I got to visit Mission San Juan Capistrano not too long ago. One of the best things about having kids is getting to tag along on field trips, so take my advice, have some kids and go on field trips.

CALI DESIGN
I don’t know much about design but I do know that when I see a piece of Eames furniture that I look at it like a piece of art. Enjoyed Pacific Standard Time at LACMA the other day, amazed at the creativity and complexity of seemingly simple design and I also wondered why my house doesn’t look like the Eames home.

You ever need time to yourself?? Some peace and quiet to think about things. Maybe some time to just forgot about your troubles and zone out?? I have the solution….drive around all day and call it work. Just keep your eyes open, you never know what you’ll see.
